Welcome to HomestuckGirls! : )  There are a few rules and guidelines Memebership is automatically accepted. You can submit 1 deviations/week. All art is accepted as long as it's along the guidelines of the group and deviantART. And of course, it must center around female Homestuck characters. Submit to the correct folders (folder rules can be read farther down). No rude behaviour towards any member of the group and no bashing of characters/couples. No art theft. Everyone should just be kind to each other. All art forms are accepted. As long as it's a female Homestuck character it's accepted. Genderbends are allowed. (But only boy to girl, of course. So things like female Dave for example are accepted.) There can be guys in your drawing/photo/etc. as long as there are girls too. FoldersFeatured folder is for quality art (things that are well executed, shows a lot of emotion and/or good technique...such things.)Cosplay folder: All cosplay goes here no matter the character or if it's a pairing or genderbend. If it's cosplay it belongs here.Trolls folder: All characters that are trolls go here. (Unless it's a pairing. That goes to one of the pairing folders!!)Kids folder: All kids go here. (Unless it's a pairing. That goes to one of the pairing folders!!)Others folder: Anything else like exiles, guardians, sprites and bloodswaps go here.Genderbended folder: Only male to female genderbends are allowed. Also if there's several genderbended characters but no pairings it goes here (as long as there's at least one female).Girl-Girl pairings folder: All fem!slash pairings go here. Even if it's genderbended for example John/Karkat as girls. (Unless it's a cosplay photo. Then it goes to the cosplay folder.) Girl-Boy pairings folder: All hetero pairings go here. Same rules as the Girl-Girl folder: No cosplay. Genderbend pairings go here.Literature: All fanfiction goes here. It must contain at least one female character. She must have a major part of the story. Just a mention of female characters aren't okay. They must be part of the main focus of the story. I think that's all.
